Smithfield Mountain Bike Park is the heart of Australia’s competitive mountain biking scene and a world-class destination for riders of all levels. As the oldest mountain bike park in the country, Smithfield has proudly hosted world championship events and is home to Crankworx Cairns - a premier stop on the Crankworx World Tour.

 

Beyond its legendary racing pedigree, this iconic rainforest playground delivers an unforgettable mountain biking experience in the heart of Tropical North Queensland.

GREEN TRAILS (EASY)

Distance: 120–900m | Time: 1–15 min
 

Winding through the park’s lower areas, these gentle green trails offer few technical challenges — ideal for beginners, younger riders, or families looking to build confidence, develop skills, or simply enjoy a relaxed ride.

BLUE TRAILS (INTERMEDIATE)

Distance: 70m–3km | Time: 3 min–1 hr
 

Designed for more experienced riders, these trails feature challenging climbs and steep, technical descents —delivering the thrilling and fast-paced riding Smithfield is renowned for.
